In all honesty, we expected more from a number of those teams this season. Golden Guardians signed a few established veterans in an attempt to make the match. Those veterans really played nicely, but the group's youthful bot lane fell apart because they went 0-2.
Echo Fox had jungler Lee"Hurry" Yoon-Jae play with Karthus in both matches, and he did not seem comfortable in any way. Meanwhile, CLG attempted two distinct junglers out and could save the group from falling behind 0-2. This season is not looking great for any of those 3 groups. These 3 groups surprised us in various ways. Thus far, that has not occurred, and the Thieves are amazingly 0-2 on the year. OpTic had opportunities in both matches and pulled a win out over CLG by relying upon their Academy roster. FlyQuest demonstrated that incorporating a constant mid laner at Eugene"Pobelter" Park can make a massive difference for a group. Whether this can become playoff success remains a matter, however. We believed whether TSM would possess a bounce-back year later producing some huge changes. They have things to work outside, but they've Søren"Bjergsen" Bjerg, who is still a monster from the middle street. And fresh high laner Sergen"Broken Blade" Çelik resembles the actual thing. Clutch began hot also, and even though there are concerns on how long that may last awarded top laner Heo"Huni" Seung-hoon's history, that remains a welcome beginning for a team which fought summer. Seeing mid laner Tanner Damonte playing well needs to be great for their lovers. Both of these teams fought a stressed, back-and-forth game in the first game of this year. Liquid appeared victorious through superior teamfighting along with a draft which had Cloud9 on the rear in the very start. It seems like we are searching for a few of both of these heavyweights duking it out for regional excellence.
